The new Multi Specialty Block at Trivandrum Medical College Hospital Campus was inaugurated on November 29th by the Hon. Chief Minister Sri Pinarayi Vijayan. The function presided by the Hon. Health minister Smt. KK Shylaja Teacher and Chief Guest Hon. Tourism Devaswom Minister Sri Kadakampally Surendran. Fluctuations by Hon Mayor Sri. VK Prasanth in the presence of Principal Dr Thomas Mathew and Superintendent Dr M S Sharmad.
The building will house the renovated Mortuary and the Forensic Medicine department, the Regional Centre for Geriatrics, the laminated Open Heart Theatre and ICU for Cardiovascular Surgery department and the second Minimal access Intervention centre for Cardiology.
